Biography

Mr. Eric Cheng is currently a manager of Robotics Platform in Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) to support driving Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Technology into society. He received his BEng(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Hong Kong in 2009 and got his master degree of Industrial Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2012. Before joining HKSTP, he was the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Innovation (Global Operation) in adidas Group to initiate and deploy innovation manufacturing technology into the group supply chain. Before that, he had been working in different R&D institutes such as Hong Kong Research Institute of Textile and Apparel (HKRITA), Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) and Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) to involve over 40 R&D projects implementation and management task.
